After your experiment in the school lab this week, answer the questions:
- When does an LED not light up?
- Name at least five devices that contain an LED.
- You have two batteries and two LEDs: draw two ways to light both together.

From the field
A seven-year-old discovers the LED on their own
The teacher walks in with a diode and a battery and asks one question: is this an ordinary bulb? Then lets the students reach the answer without help. That is how confidence in one’s ability to invent is built.
Students chose to attend after examsIn an end-of-term poll, students asked for four extra days of school — and attendance matched normal days.
